House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Subcommittee Chair Austin Scott recently visited NSA Georgia at Fort Eisenhower in Augusta, Georgia. During his visit, he was briefed on the continuity of operations and resilience efforts following Hurricane Helene, which had a significant impact on the area last year. Chairman Scott also attended intelligence briefings and met with members of the U.S. Army Cyber Command, headquartered at Fort Eisenhower.
"Worldwide intelligence support starts right here in Georgia," said Chairman Scott. "It was great to meet the servicemembers and civilians at NSA Georgia and see them execute their mission to maintain our national security. These are great Americans working to keep our world safe."
NSA Georgia is responsible for conducting time-sensitive operations that fulfill tactical, operational, and national-level indications and warning requirements supporting global and regional security objectives. The agency employs capabilities necessary to harden and defend national security systems while collaborating closely with military customers to tailor signals intelligence according to their needs.
