On April 20, Turner conveyed Easter greetings through his Twitter handle. In his message, he emphasized the occasion's spiritual significance, stating: "Happy Easter! Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ and the hope that fills our Hearts because of His victory over the grave. May His triumph fill our hearts with peace, joy, and endless hope."
In a subsequent post made on April 21, Turner expressed his grief over the death of the head of the Catholic Church: "I am saddened by the passing of Pope Francis, whose unwavering compassion, humility, and dedication to service touched the lives of millions around the world." On April 22, Turner turned his attention to an upcoming event in his hometown. He posted about the upcoming NATO Day in Dayton, stating: "We’re just one month out from @NATODayton2025! Dayton is proud to welcome parliamentarians, officials, and guests from around the world for a week of dialogue focused on strengthening peace and security across the transatlantic alliance. We can’t wait to showcase our city…” This event underscores Dayton’s role in hosting international diplomatic activities.
Turner was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1960 and continues to live there today. He holds degrees from Ohio Northern University, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Dayton.
