Congressman Mike Turner, representing Ohio's 10th district, has expressed his condolences on the death of Pope Francis. In a statement issued from Washington, D.C., Turner conveyed his grief over the loss of the Pope, highlighting his significant impact as a religious leader.

Turner stated, "I am saddened by the passing of Pope Francis, a spiritual leader whose unwavering compassion, humility, and dedication to service touched the lives of millions around the world."

He emphasized Pope Francis's commitment to social causes, saying, “Throughout his papacy, Pope Francis championed the cause of the poor, called for peace in times of conflict, and reminded us all of the power of faith and forgiveness." Turner further noted that the Pope's "legacy of kindness and moral leadership will endure for generations to come."

In concluding his remarks, Turner extended his sympathies to the Catholic community and admirers of the Pope worldwide.
