Congressman Mike Turner and Jake Auchincloss, co-chairs of the Congressional Bosnia Caucus, have expressed concern over recent developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a joint statement, they addressed the actions of Milorad Dodik, who they accuse of attempting to dismantle the Dayton Peace Accords. They believe these efforts undermine decades of peace in the Balkans.

The congressmen highlighted Dodik's alliance with Vladimir Putin as a destabilizing factor for the region. They assert that this partnership threatens Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty and challenges the rule of law.

Turner and Auchincloss emphasized that "the United States and our allies cannot allow these actions to go unchecked." They reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The statement concluded with a pledge to work alongside European allies to counteract negative influences while supporting sovereignty and territorial integrity in the Balkans.
