House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford has announced a hearing to discuss the 2025 Annual Worldwide Threats Assessment. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, at 10:00 AM ET and will take place in the Longworth House Office Building.
Chairman Crawford stated, "The United States and our allies are facing an unprecedented myriad of threats from highly sophisticated adversaries seeking to weaken our alliances, undermine our way of life, and deteriorate our readiness." He emphasized the importance of addressing threats such as "the growing influence and investment by the CCP in the Western Hemisphere," Iran's role as "the largest state sponsor of terror," and Russia's aggressive activities. Crawford expressed his anticipation to learn how the new intelligence community leadership plans to tackle these issues.
