Montgomery County, in collaboration with Miami Township and the cities of Centerville, Dayton, and Kettering, has launched a rain barrel and compost bin program. The initiative allows residents to purchase rain barrels at a discounted price of $76.00 and compost bins for $68.00. This offer is available for a limited time and while supplies last.
Residents interested in taking advantage of this opportunity should place their orders before May 4th. The pickup is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The designated pickup location is Miami Township Public Works at 10891 Wood Rd., Miamisburg, OH 45342.
