U.S. Representative Mike Turner, who has been serving Ohio's 10th district since 2003, recently shared a series of tweets addressing significant topics. Turner, born in Dayton, Ohio in 1960 and an alumnus of Ohio Northern University and Case Western Reserve University, took to social media to express his views on Holocaust remembrance, defense collaboration with Israel, and bipartisan legislative efforts.

On January 27, 2025, Turner marked Holocaust Remembrance Day by honoring the memory of six million Jews and millions of others who perished during the Holocaust. He emphasized the importance of confronting anti-Semitism and ensuring that such atrocities do not recur. "On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor and remember the six million Jews and millions of others whose lives were taken in the Holocaust."

The following day, January 28, 2025, Turner highlighted the effectiveness of Israel’s Iron Dome as a deterrent against Iran and its proxies. He expressed eagerness to collaborate with President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to develop an Iron Dome system for America. "Israel’s Iron Dome, jointly developed with the United States, has long been a proven effective deterrent against Iran and its proxies."

On January 29, 2025, Turner announced his joint effort with Representative Mikie Sherrill to reintroduce the bipartisan Brownfields Redevelopment Tax Incentive Reauthorization Act. Reflecting on his tenure as Dayton's mayor where he transformed a brownfield into Day Air Ballpark, he reiterated his commitment to repurposing sites in Southwest Ohio.
