U.S. Representative Mike Turner, who has been serving Ohio's 10th district since 2003, recently took to social media to share updates on his activities and legislative efforts. Turner, a Dayton native with degrees from Ohio Northern University, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Dayton, is actively engaged in national security issues and veteran affairs.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Mike Turner announced an upcoming appearance on CNN's "The Lead" with Jake Tapper. He urged followers to watch the conversation by posting: " HAPPENING SOON I’ll be joining @JakeTapper on @TheLeadCNN. Watch our conversation on @CNN."

Later that day, Turner addressed concerns over foreign control of social media platforms. In a tweet posted at 22:50 UTC, he stated: "When foreign adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party control social media platforms, it creates a serious national security threat. ByteDance must divest from TikTok to protect Americans' data and privacy." He mentioned discussing this issue with Jake Tapper during their interview.

On January 24, 2025, Turner introduced bipartisan legislation aimed at improving care coordination for senior veterans enrolled in both VA services and Medicare. The initiative was highlighted in his tweet: "The Coordinating Care for Senior Veterans and Wounded Warriors Act takes an important step toward improving care coordination for senior veterans enrolled in both VA services and Medicare." He expressed pride in introducing this legislation alongside Representatives Juan Ciscomani and Don Davis.
