Dayton Metro Library will host several free Future You college prep programs at Branches through February. These programs help teens prepare for a college life after high school.
Future You: Family FAFSA Night
Teens and their families who have questions about college and career options can drop in and receive help beginning or completing a FAFSA form. Computers will be available.
- Trotwood Branch: Tuesday, January 17, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
- Southeast Branch: Tuesday, January 24, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Students can take either the ACT or SAT practice test (neither of which includes an essay portion). An overview of the practice tests, as well as preparation tools, will also be given. Sessions require advanced registration.
- Southeast Branch: Saturday, January 21, 10 am - 1:30 pm
- Northmont Branch: Saturday, February 4, 10 am - 1:30 pm
- Kettering-Moraine Branch: Saturday, February 25, 10 am - 1:30 pm
Teens and their families can attend this program and visit with a member from Sinclair Community College’s Admission team, who will cover different financial options available to help cover the cost of college, no matter what school a student might attend.
- Miamisburg Branch: Tuesday, January 31, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
- Northmont Branch: Tuesday, February 7, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
- Main Library, 1st Floor Conference Room: Tuesday, February 21, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
