October Art Gallery

The Centerville Arts Commission is pleased to announce the Centerville Art Gallery will feature the work of local artist Jennifer Sayger throughout the month of October. The exhibit may be viewed 24 hours a day at the Centerville Police Department, 155 West Spring Valley Road.

Jennifer Sayger’s exhibit honors artists from famous painters to musicians. She has also included a portrait of a very special artist: her grandmother Patricia, who just celebrated her 99th birthday. Pat was her inspiration to start painting at a very young age. Jennifer has always enjoyed painting in oils just like her grandmother used to.

Jennifer has been working professionally creating fine art and mural painting in the Dayton area for over 30 years. From creating the Centerville Elk mural in Uptown, to custom pet portraits, to a reproduction of Raphael’s work, creating timeless custom paintings on canvas or wall is her passion.

Jennifer enjoys using reclaimed materials in her art pieces such as using cassette tapes as her canvas and reusing her paint stir sticks to create works of art.

The Centerville Arts Commission was created by Centerville City Council to involve citizens in the visual and performing arts. For more information, call (937) 433-7151.
