Dayton Metro Library continues its celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month with hands-on, engaging activities for all ages. Patrons can embrace the culture and history of Hispanic Americans by participating in any of the following programs:
Dayton Metro Library welcomes Montgomery County Recorder Brandon McClain to present Property Fraud Alert & Veteran ID Card Services, a program that guides patrons on how to sign up for each service. This program will be held at the following locations:
- Northwest Branch Library, Tuesday, September 20, 6 - 7 pm
- Miamisburg Branch Library, Saturday, October 1, 11 am - 12 pm
- Main Library, Conference Room 1B, Tuesday, November 8, 7 - 8 pm
The Fraud Alert Notification System is a free service that notifies property owners when a document referencing a registered property is recorded with the county. It is also a key program that helps prevent deed fraud in Montgomery County.
The Veteran ID Card Program is a proactive measure to ensure that veterans securely record their DD-124 and obtain a valid state-issued ID for a variety of benefits such as healthcare, burial benefits, discounts, and more.
Registration is not required for any of the sessions.
