Handyman Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Handyman Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Ohio lost 1,488 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,919 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 4249 N Main St, Dayton will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Vietnam Era Memorial Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Handyman Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Handyman Ace Hardware is located at 4249 N Main St, Dayton, Ohio. This location is owned by David Grimes, represented by Chris Miller and managed by Rich Newcomb.
