City of Brookville recently issued the following announcement.
Monday, April 18, is the last day to file your Income Taxes. All residents, age 18 and older, are required to file a city income tax return, whether or not tax is owed. All mail must be postmarked by April 18 to be considered filed on time. Information is available at www.vandaliaohio.org/169/Income-Tax-Division
The City of Vandalia’s Tax Department can help you prepare your City of Brookville return for FREE.
Vandalia Tax Department employees will be available at the Brookville City offices, 301 Sycamore Street, this Friday, April 1, 2022 from 8-4:30 and Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 8-Noon. They can also help you prepare your return at the Vandalia City Offices, 333 James Bohanan Memorial Drive, Vandalia, OH 45377, Monday – Friday 8 AM- 5 PM with extended hours available on the following days:
- Saturday, April 9, 2022 - Open 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Friday, April 15, 2022 - Open 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Saturday, April 16, 2022 - Open 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Monday, April 18, 2022 (due date!) - Open 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
If preparing your own city tax return and simply want to file and pay (if necessary) you may use one of the filing options below:
- Drop off at the City of Vandalia: Depository located just past the utility payment window.
- File Online (link above): File individual and withholding tax returns electronically through the Online Filing Tool.
- In-Person at the City of Vandalia Offices: Cash, check, or money order accepted.
- Pay Online (link above): Credit card, debit card, or e-check accepted. Convenience fees apply.
