GERMANTOWN SENIOR CENTER

ONE-MILL RENEWAL LEVY

The Germantown Senior Center provides health, educational, and recreational programs to assist seniors to maintain vital, independent lives.

The center has a wide variety of activities for seniors. There are physical fitness activities,

lunch activities, social activities, open computer, and game activities.

The center also hosts health screenings, health fairs, informative seminars, free tax service, flu inoculations, music events and community events.

And, the seniors have numerous opportunities to volunteer their time and talents.

Finally, the center has become a focal point for seniors and their families to find information concerning services available in Montgomery County.

To continue operation of the center as well as assist seniors in maintaining vital, independent lives, Germantown and German Township officials have placed a one-mill renewal levy on the May 3, 2022 ballot. This issue is a continuation of the present one-mill levy and will not increase taxes.

The seniors of Germantown and German Township have a long and proud history of building, supporting, and maintaining our community. The continuation of the senior center will provide an opportunity for our seniors to remain viable, contributing members of the community.
