U.S. Representative Mike Turner, who serves Ohio’s 10th district in Congress, posted several updates on social media between October 2 and October 3, 2025. His messages highlighted both community observances and local development projects.
On October 2, Turner acknowledged Yom Kippur with a message to his constituents: "On this Yom Kippur, I want to extend my heartfelt wishes for a meaningful and reflective day to all those in our community who are fasting and seeking atonement. G'mar Chatimah Tovah to our Jewish community."
Later that day, he attended an event related to local economic growth. In a post dated October 2, Turner wrote: "This morning, I spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for Resonant Sciences expansion in Beavercreek, OH. This project creates well-paying STEM jobs in our region and is a critical program for our national security. National Security and innovation meet again in Ohio's 10th".
The following day, Turner participated in another development milestone. On October 3 he stated: "I had the privilege of joining @SenJonHusted and community leaders at the OnMain groundbreaking. Dayton's rich history of innovation continues with this project, and I'm proud to have secured $900,000 of federal funding to contribute. I am looking forward to what we innovate".
Turner has represented Ohio’s 10th District since 2003 after succeeding Tony P. Hall (source). Born in Dayton in 1960, he has remained active within his hometown throughout his career as a legislator. Turner earned degrees from Ohio Northern University (BA), Case Western Reserve University (JD), and the University of Dayton (JD). These academic credentials support his long-standing involvement with regional initiatives that focus on job creation and technological innovation.
