U.S. Representative Mike Turner, who represents Ohio’s 10th district in Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official X account highlighting legislative priorities related to Ukraine and local development initiatives in Dayton.
On September 24, 2025, Turner wrote: "Having just been to Ukraine, we must bring H.R. 2548, the Sanctioning Russia Act of 2025, to an immediate vote in the House to provide President Trump the tools to bring economic pressure upon Russia. Their ability to fund their murderous war on Ukraine must end. Only through".
The following day, Turner shared details of a meeting with Ukrainian officials: "I had a productive meeting with Ukraine's Minister of Defense @Denys_Shmyhal, his deputy Serhii Boyev, and Chief of Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov @ChiefDI_Ukraine and I agree with President Trump on this." This post was made on September 25, 2025.
On September 26, Turner shifted focus to local matters: "Joined Your Day on @dayton247now this morning to preview the groundbreaking at onMain. From the beginning, when I secured nearly $1million in community project funding, I have been a strong advocate for this project as we continue to keep Dayton, OH the center for innovation!"
Turner has represented Ohio’s 10th District since replacing Tony P. Hall in Congress in 2003 and is recognized for his longstanding connection to Dayton—his birthplace and current residence. He holds degrees from Ohio Northern University (BA), Case Western Reserve University (JD), and the University of Dayton (JD). His recent posts underscore both his engagement with international security issues concerning Ukraine and ongoing support for economic development projects within his district.
