Today, Congressman Mike Turner of Ohio's 10th district issued a statement on the death of former Congressman Dave Hobson. Hobson's district included Springfield, Ohio.

Turner expressed his admiration for Hobson, stating, “Dave Hobson was a man of immense character and integrity. I saw firsthand how much Dave loved Ohio and the Miami Valley during our time together in the House of Representatives."

Hobson served in the Ohio Air National Guard and was known for his dedication to service members and national security. Turner noted, "He approached every challenge with tenacity and grace and was a friend to all who knew him."

Turner concluded his statement by offering condolences to Hobson's family: "My prayers are with Carolyn and the rest of the Hobson family.”
