On Saturday, March 2, former Independence High School standout David Mendez’s current college team, the Dayton Flyers, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I game against the High Point Panthers.

The game took place in High Point, North Carolina. This was their second matchup against the High Point Panthers this season.

The Flyers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 3 at 1 p.m. in High Point, North Carolina against High Point Panthers.
