On Friday, February 23, former Independence High School standout David Mendez’s current college team, the Dayton Flyers, lost 14-2 in their NCAA Division I game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This was their first matchup against the Wake Forest Deacons this season.

The Flyers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 4 p.m. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina against Wake Forest Deacons.
