The University of Dayton volleyball team completed the season sweep of Atlantic 10 foe Duquesne Tuesday night with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-22) win at the Dukes' UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Dayton has now won three straight and seven of its last eight league match-ups.
Dayton improves to 15-10 on the season and 9-3 in A-10 matches while Duquesne moves to 5-19 overall and 2-10 in league contests.

12 - sophomore Lexie Almodovar got under a match-high 12 digs to go with eight kills
9 - sophomore Brooke Smith led the Flyer attack with a team-high nine kills
8 - sophomore Alayna Yates added eight kills to go with four blocks
7 - as a team, Dayton served up seven aces compared to Duquesne's two
5 - sophomore Alyssa Miller tallied a career-high-tying five kills
UP NEXT
Dayton will continue its three-match road stint with two matches at Saint Louis this weekend. The Flyers and Billikens are set to square off Friday at 8 p.m. ET followed by a 3 p.m. ET first serve on Saturday. Both matches will be played at SLU's Chaifetz Pavilion and admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
