The Dayton Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards--temporary and permanent positions are available! Training is FREE with a commitment to work for the City of Dayton (30 hours minimum for the months of June and July; if not joining the City as a lifeguard, the fee is $200). Training includes online and in-person sessions. Must be at least 15 years old and pass a swimming pre-skills test. For more information, call Zach Horstman at 937-333-3127.
The May 2022 American Red Cross lifeguard courses schedule:
Course 1: May 16th, 17th, and 18th 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. each day
Course 2: May 18th, 19th, and 20th 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day
