City of Centerville recently issued the following announcement.
All items must be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular waste collection day.
Pick-up Requirements:
Large items such as carpet, wood and countertops may not be longer than four feet.
Mattresses and box springs must be sealed in plastic. Bags are available for purchase at the Municipal Building (100 West Spring Valley Road) and local home improvement
stores.
Bundled brush must be bound in no larger than ten-inch diameter bundles that are less than four feet long.
No metal protruding from wood. (Pull out any nails.)
Items not accepted:
Hazardous items (chemicals, paint, oil, propane, fuel, etc.)
Concrete, rock, dirt, loose brush, firewood, tree stumps, root balls
Vehicle parts, including batteries and tires
