City of Germantown recently issued the following announcement.
Germantown residents will now have enhanced viewing choices when watching city programming on the Miami Valley Communications Council (MVCC) Government Access
Channel 5. Beginning in 2022, viewers can select Closed Captioning for a video option when watching any program on the Government Access channel.
Residents will be able to watch live Germantown city council meetings with subtitles in near real-time, along with indicators that are added when someone new is speaking. MVCC cablecasts 24/7 each year on Channel 5, and virtually all the programs will be Closed Caption supported.
