Congressman Turner pays tribute to former Warren County Sheriff Tom Ariss

Today, Congressman Mike Turner of Ohio's 10th district issued a statement regarding the passing of former Warren County Sheriff Tom Ariss. Turner highlighted Ariss's significant contributions to the community and his strong leadership qualities.

"Tom Ariss was a pillar of Warren County and the Miami Valley," Turner stated. "He was a leader defined by his integrity, accountability, and commitment to his community."

Ariss had an extensive career in public service before serving as sheriff from 1992 to 2008. His background included service in the U.S. military, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Springboro Police Department.

Turner expressed sympathy for Ariss's family during this time of loss: "I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Tom’s family and loved ones during this difficult time."
