Mike Turner posts updates on art competition closure and honors Vietnam veterans

U.S. Representative Mike Turner, who serves Ohio’s 10th district, recently posted several updates on his official social media account, including announcements related to the Congressional Art Competition, a message honoring Vietnam Veterans, and an invitation for constituents to subscribe to his newsletter.

On March 27, 2026, Turner informed followers that submissions for the annual art contest had closed: “My office is no longer accepting submissions for the Congressional Art Competition. Thank you to all of the students who submitted. If you have questions please call my district office at: 937-225-2843 https://t.co/TeWkmgLZpT”.

Two days later, on March 29, Turner recognized Vietnam Veterans in a public statement: ” Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of our Vietnam Veterans. Your resilience in the face of adversity and your dedication to our nation will never be forgotten. https://t.co/uxcuAwtiN8″.

On March 30, he encouraged constituents to stay informed by subscribing to his newsletter: ” Stay updated by signing up for my newsletter: https://t.co/ovY0XGQnXi https://t.co/6UY14IRDFi”.

Turner has represented Ohio’s 10th District in Congress since 2003 after succeeding Tony P. Hall. He was born in Dayton in 1960 and continues to reside there. Turner holds degrees from Ohio Northern University (BA), Case Western Reserve University (JD), and the University of Dayton (JD).
