Wright State University recently issued the following announcement.
Wright State University’s part-time MBA program has been ranked among the nation’s best for 2022 by Fortune, the business magazine’s first-ever rankings in that category.
The MBA program, offered by the Wright State Raj Soin College of Business, was ranked No. 66 out of the nation’s top 70 programs. The magazine invited a total of 150 part-time Master of Business Administration programs to participate in the rankings but ranked only 70.
“These top part-time MBA degree programs not only offer top-notch curriculums and access to world-class business school professors, but they also have a track record of seeing their alumni climb to the tops of the Fortune 500 world,” said Fortune.
The rankings were based on completed questionnaires from the schools along with data from companies and executives. Components used to compile the final rankings included strength of the incoming class, average GPA, years of work experience and the number of MBA alumni who are executives.
“We are very proud to receive this recognition,” said Thomas Traynor, Ph.D., dean of the Raj Soin College of Business. “This together with our other national commendations help us spread the word about our excellent degree programs and the high level of respect that top employers place on the Wright State University MBA.”
Wright State’s Master of Business Administration Program develops managers and leaders whose understanding and vision encompass the total organization. Graduates work effectively within and across functional areas and understand the entire organization and its environment.
Raj Soin College of Business faculty members are recognized in academia for their research and selected by businesses for consultation. In addition, the College of Business has modern and fully integrated classroom technology as well as state-of-the-art online learning infrastructure.
The Princeton Review also chose the Raj Soin College of Business for its list of Best Business Schools for 2021, an evaluation of on-campus MBA programs at 244 business schools. The list was based on a combination of institutional and student survey data, including career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor. In addition, The Princeton Review named the college’s MBA among the Top 50 graduate programs in Entrepreneurship (No. 42) based on the program’s New Venture concentration.
