Dayton Metro Library continues with its National Hispanic Heritage Month (NHHM) programming by offering a variety of programs that range in interest from job searching and storytimes to crafting and social justice.
Job Search Tips in Spanish (For Adults)
This program, presented in Spanish, will discuss ways to manage job searching successfully.

Baby & Toddler Storytime: Mother Goose on the Loose Bilingual (For Birth-24 months with a caregiver)
Join us for an award-winning early literacy program in Spanish and English that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, and musical instruments to stimulate the learning process.

DÃa de los Muertos Crafting! (For Families, Teens, and Tweens)
Make props that will be used in the DÃa de los Muertos parade that will be in downtown Dayton on Saturday, October 22.

Alebrije Making Workshop
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage and make alebrijes, imaginary creatures portrayed in Mexican folk art and inspired by the movie Coco. (For Grades 1-4 and Tweens, registration required)

Social Justice Speaker Series: Emiliana Guereca (For Adults, Teens, and Tweens; sponsored by Friends of the Dayton Metro Library)
Guereca is an award-winning activist, feminist, entrepreneur, and CEO of the Women’s March Foundation. She advocates for women’s rights, Latino education, and gender equality.
